Brief
This high-quality, diverse exhibition brings together thousands of church leaders from all mainline denominations. The aim of CRE is to bring together those who support, work with and provide for the church with those who lead and attend churches of all denominations in the UK.

It is a place of coming together, to be enriched and equipped, where people resource one another. CRE comprises more than 350 exhibition stands, presentations, helpful workshops and inspirational talks. For all active Christians it presents a remarkable networking experience unmatched in Britain.

Everyday, once visitors enter, there’s a choice of more than 30 seminars to attend, by acclaimed Christian speakers; providing a vital focus for reflection and action.

CRE is often dubbed as the “Ideal Church Show”

Quirky moments at the event:

Speed dating - held in the afternoon of Thursday 17th for people of all ages. There were many female takers and a lack of male attendees but all enjoyed the fun.

Ministers and motors – A pink haired priest with a matching Nissan Micra were among the contributors of the most unusual vehicle rally of the year. The pink Nissan Micra was developed to create breast cancer awareness. This took place on the opening day of the event. Joy Gilmor from CRE said that “ according to a recent survey, most visitors to CRE thing Jesus would drive a campervan if embarking on his ministry today”
