AEO Excellence Awards 2009 Launch: Get short-listed

Association of Event Organisers (AEO) is pleased to confirm that the industry’s flagship ceremony, the AEO Excellence Awards, will be held at the London Hilton on Park Lane hotel, on 19 June 2009.

The AEO Excellence Awards 2009, celebrating its fifteenth year, recognises organisers’ achievements, standards of excellence from venues and service quality by suppliers and contractors throughout the industry.

Austen Hawkins, Interim AEO Director said, “Award ceremonies have a long tradition of fantastic grandeur but, given the unique climate, their true value becomes even more prominent.

“The AEO Excellence Awards provides a great opportunity for companies to showcase their achievements amongst peers and this year we have nineteen categories for organisers, venues and suppliers. Winning an award, or even getting short-listed, would give everyone a feel-good factor.

“We’ve been working hard to provide the industry with an event that, for one night, can let people relax and enjoy the occasion.”

The elegant Grand Ballroom of London Hilton on Park Lane will provide a fitting backdrop for the ceremony.
