Event marketers need a holiday!
In research carried out by ASP Consulting, the new marketing consultancy division of ASP, 55% of respondents said they are most looking forward to a holiday this year!
In addition to a holiday, 64% would also like more resources to try new activities in their marketing campaigns but on the positive side, over 50% feel they are seen as making a great contribution within their organisation.
When it came to how marketers feel about their own event campaigns, just 26% feel they are able to implement ‘cool new stuff’.
‘The results of this research validates why we launched the ASP Consulting division. While many marketers are doing great campaigns there’s room for more and that’s where we come in,’ comments Jo Tyler, Head of Event Strategy at ASP Consulting. ‘We can provide flexible resources to a marketing team without increasing overheads or committing to outsourcing.’
But bad news for the producers of ‘Lost’ – only 4% of respondents are looking forward to the new series!
