Spotlight turns to England's unique venues

Meet England, the domestic business tourism team of national tourism agency, VisitBritain today (23 January) announced a new guide to promote the vast array of unique venues available in England for private and corporate events.

Unique England will showcase the unique and quirky venues that make England a tempting choice for the conference or event organiser.  From dinner and dances in Liverpool’s The Beatles Story, to a drinks reception and private viewing of the crown jewels at HM Tower of London there is a wealth of possibilities in England for inspiring events in sensational settings.

Sarah Woodford, Meet England manager said:

“The right venue can make all the difference to how your guests view an event and the Unique England guide features over 60 venues across the country that will ensure yours is one to remember.  From the National Media Museum in West Yorkshire to The Lowry in Manchester, from Fulham Palace in London to Cutler’s Hall in Sheffield, the guide provides an at-a-glace inspirational guide to planning your next event.”

The free of charge 72 page guide provides an insight into the event possibilities at these spectacular properties with images, editorial, contact details and capacity information.  As well as informing about practical details, the guide also details the venue history and notable and unusual events held there in the past.

Copies of Unique England will be available to order on www.meetengland.com from 7th March 2008.
