The wider business and marketing media is interested in what the events sector is doing. By comparison to much of what it has to cover, our industry is dynamic, sexy and exciting and many readers will have direct experience, exhibiting and visiting events and will therefore relate to the story.
Editors have told us that they will publish news stories on developments within individual events, organising and supplying companies and the industry as a whole. However, to give yourself and your show the best opportunity to gain exposure, we are advised to build stories around a brand name, and the more prominent the better – work with or use high profile exhibitors.
